Audiologists are healthcare professionals who provide patient-centred care in the prevention, identification, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of hearing, balance, and other auditory disorders for people of all ages. They work to prevent and treat hearing loss and related issues, as well as work with patients and their families as they adapt to life with impaired hearing.
