Beauty and the Beast

That one special night when girls in colorful gowns and boys in in ill-fitting tuxedos pose awkwardly for photos that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. Those tuxes, the dresses, the hair and the flowers. Yes, it’s prom night at Narraville Community Hall. The event was scheduled to begin at 05:00pm, but it commenced at 06:20pm. People of the community and learners of De Duine Secondary school gathered in huge crowds to witness this once in a year event, because it was the first time ever that the school ever hosted the event at Narraville, thanks to the municipality of Walvis Bay. The theme was BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and the LRCs of 2K018 opened the event by walking on the ramp. Delano Jansen was dressed as beast and Amy Noble was dressed in a beautiful yellow gown, as she was beauty.
Romily Mouton the 1st runner up of Miss Namibia also attended the prom and she looked elegant in a cocktail dress. She gave a vote of thanks to the community of Narraville. ‘’The matriculants looked beautiful tonight’’ Romily Mouton said.

Flashing cameras, loud music and the crowd had an electrical vibe as the matriculants were arriving, walking on the red carpet. I must say I was blown away by their designer gears. It might have been a little breezy, but HEY that didn’t stop the young ladies from showing off some skin. One might say they looked ready for the Oscars in their elaborate dresses.
With the grade12 external examination rapidly approaching anxiety levels among all grade12’s is sky rocketing, most of you view these exams as a complicated maze of adversity, but it’s important for you to understand that you’re not incapable of achieving whatever you want to achieve. You owe it to yourself to be the best version of yourself.
And I still want to add that… The exams are not a test of intelligence, but rather a test of your ability to comprehend to your work and apply them theoretically and practically and it’s also a test of your determination to succeed or a test of your persistence determination.

To all the grade12’s be phenomenally as you can be, go easy, but with enough speed so that you make a justice to hard work. Don’t be afraid of the wind when it sings by your ears, don’t be afraid of the waves when they roar. No matter what the question might be, your knowledge will help you through it. I wish you the very best! Slay that examination as you did on the red carpet. God bless you all.
