Bidding adieu to Mrs Joseph
15 September 2020 | Education
On 27 August, Academia Secondary School said farewell to one of our teachers. The retirement celebration for Mrs Joseph was melancholic as she has been teaching at Academia for eight years.
Mrs Joseph, who taught word processing-office administration, has been more than a just a teacher to the school.
She has been a significant benefaction to the school as she not only taught all the grades, but was respected and looked up to as a mentor, parent and a guardian.
As she was an education officer prior to her job as a teacher at Academia, her experience in the education sector has played a major role in her productivity and incentive to teach.
“She was a very excellent and knowledgeable teacher whose teaching skills brought forth good results,” said Mr Rust, the school principal.
“She had commendable working relations with her colleagues and she was always prepared”.
Mrs Joseph is described as a hardworking and driven teacher who will be dearly missed by Academia Secondary School and the teaching fraternity of Namibia.
