Rudi Louw a coach and fitness trainer Personal Trainers have the power to change lives for the better. He helps clients achieve their fitness and health goals through motivation and education, but it is much more than giving out exercise orders.

Louw guides their clients step by step throughout their whole routine, whether it is in a gym or boot camp. He is passionate about health and fitness, and through their work inspire and encourage others to develop healthy habits and routines through the safe delivery of effective programs, instruction, motivation and education.

Louw as well digs deep into the client’s obstacles and motivations behind being active. Their role is crucial for helping to set realistic goals for his clients, and ultimately achieve them.

He is able to communicate clearly, as they have to assess, discuss, motivate, and teach clients how to improve their fitness, strength or physique. Hence, strong communication and listening skills are paramount.

He exercise plans must be explained clearly to the client so they can understand what they are doing and why. In addition, this is essential for client retention and also generally to have a positive session.

His job can involve a range of activities or could be more specialised – a swimming instructor is not going to have the same knowledge base as a Pilate’s instructor, for example. But their knowledge of the human body and how it functions, as well as how to involve and make clients feel better about themselves comes from a similar school of thought.

The requirements is to have 25 points in 5 subjects for admission of sport management and at least 50 in English and mathematics.
