Lately the Demia Soccer boys have kept the school at ease with the ongoing soccer tournaments being in their favour. The boys have given their best in the last soccer league, giving it back to their head coach, Luwellyn Khaiseb, parents and the school as well as their support and dedication.

The boys have participated in quite a lot of soccer tournaments such as the ATKV, Gravity Cup and Hopsol. The boys have trained very hard for the past season and have played friendly matches against various schools, to help them improve their skill.

Earlier this year, the u/19 boys won the ATKV soccer tournament that was held at HTS. They also won against various schools. Victory is all over for the boys, that is why they embarked on taking part in more soccer tournaments.

The u/19 soccer boys also took part in the West Side High school soccer tournament in Swakopmund. It was very exciting and worth it, even though they did not win, they however did learn new tactics and skills from the tournament and how to have effective communication among players when they are on the field.

The captain of u/19 soccer boys Eljoroe Siboli says that it’s not only about winning but about enjoying the game. The boys have an optimistic attitude towards the sport and because of that discipline their hard work has paid off.

It was a good season for the boys, which came with a lot of challenges, despite all of that the school is very proud of them for their effort.
