Jaarliks is WAP gelukkig genoeg om oudleerlinge te ontvang wat terugkeer as onderwysers en dié jaar was geen uitsondering nie. Uit die alumni is WAP reeds geseën met vier hoërskool onderwyseresse, drie laerskool onderwyseresse en drie kleuterskool onderwyseresse en assistente. In 2019 het twee besonderse onderwyseresse, Nicolette Harmse en Kaylynn Zaayman, hulle pad terug gevind hoërskool toe.

Nicolette Harmse is ’n Affie in flees en gees. Sy was ’n WAP leerdling van 2003 tot en met sy in 2014 matrikuleer het. Hierna het sy aanhou hard werk om haar BA Taal- en Literatuurstudies in 2017 en BA Honneurs in Linguistieke Studies in 2018 te verwerf. Selfs na haar terugkeer is sy hard aan die leer om haar Meestersgraad in Afrikaanse Studies te verwerf. Sy bied Afrikaans aan vir beide graad 9 en 10 leerlinge.

Harmse het ’n passie vir kultuur en is betrokke by die matriekafskeid. Harmse sê WAP is eintlik nog altyd deel van haar menswees en dit is vir haar ’n voorreg om terug te wees waar sy haar onderrig ontvang het om self te kan onderrig.

Verder verduidelik sy dat sy daarna streef om die inspirasie, insig en kennis wat sy ontvang het, oor te dra en 'n passie en liefde vir tale onder haar leerlinge te kweek.

Harmse betoon ook haar dankbaarheid aan WAP wat haar geleer het hoe om hard te werk, vas te byt en op die regte grondslag van geloof, hoop en liefde te bou.

Kaylynn Zaayman is een van daardie mense wat altyd bereid is om te help. Sy was vir vyf jaar ’n WAP-leerling en was saam met Harmse deel van die 2014 “oesjaar”. Hierna het sy haar B.ED Senior en VOO graad voltooi. Tans bied sy Lewenswetenskappe vir grade 8 tot 10 en Fisiese Wetenskappe vir grade 8 en 9 aan.

Zaayman het ’n groot liefde vir sport en leef hierdie passie uit deur as spanbestuurder vir die o.14-rugbyspan op te tree. Verder is sy ook betrokke by die reëlingskomitee vir Mnr. en Mej. WAP en ook betrokke by die matriekafskeid. Zaayman vertel hoe sy dankbaar is dat WAP vir haar soveel geleenthede gebied het, want dit het haar as mens help vorm. Verder verduidelik sy dat sy dit verskriklik geniet om as onderwyser by WAP op te tree en beskryf die ervaring as “onvervangbaar, merkwaardig en geseënd”. Sy sien uit vir wat die toekoms bied. Dit is ’n absolute fees om by juffrou Zaayman klas te hê met haar positiewe geaardheid en liefde vir kinders.

Beide hierdie onderwysers het reeds hulle merk in elke leerling se hart gemaak en dra daagliks nie net by tot die ontwikkeling van hulle afsonderlike klasse nie, maar ook die skool as geheel. WAP is beslis geseënd met besonderse onderwysers.
