Air Namibia will not operate the Friday, 17 April 2020 flight as indicated below.The Namibian National Airline, Air Namibia is classified as an essential service provider and has the permission to operate during the Namibian state of emergency period as stipulated in Proclamation #9 by the President of the Republic of Namibia on the 28th of March 2020. At present, all regional and domestic flights are suspended until 05 May 2020. Whereas, WDH-FRA flights suspension is extended until 17 May 2020. Although normal operations are temporary suspended, Air Namibia remains available to offer air transport through charter flights for humanitarian purposes, as well as to airlift pharmaceutical supplies, consumables and all other essential needs. All charter operations are subject to approval being granted by all relevant authorities.
