It is that time of the year when I have to say goodbye to my team of awesome journalists. I had an amazing year being editor. I always thought it was hard work after I heard a great man say it will make you bald. I enjoyed every part of being editor. I wrote a lot and it improved my skills as a writer. On 8 February 2019 I attended the media camp and I did not know that it was the beginning of a great journey.

Today I have worked with awesome learners who have made being the editor fun. I look forward to ending 2019 on a high note as the editor of the newspaper for my amazing school. The publication assists students to voice out their opinions on critical issues or events happening locally and on a globally and be heard. It is fun to work with amazing writers on a school level. Many of the journalists on my team are hardworking and this makes live easy for me.

I love being an editor as it allows me to mold others while receiving instructions from above. It is an honor to have been the editor of this amazing newspaper. I hope to share the skills I learned as editor with the people around so as to improve my community. I hope that the foundations of journalism laid years before I made my mark on earth will continue growing so that our field flourishes beyond expectations.

Now as you hold this newspaper you should know that the hard work put into this was a pure bliss so sit back relax and enjoy the newspaper. Read and grow just as our paper has grown over the years and will continue growing.

A big heartfelt thanks Amazing Kids Private School and Academy for giving the spectrum of opportunities to its learners. Above all, this could not have been a success if it were not for the Lord God Almighty’s blessing of life.
