NEW TEACHERS FOR HIGH SCHOOL

Wiaan Louw
Mr Faghan Pocsi is one of our newest teachers at Pro-Ed Academy. He studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he completed his undergraduate studies in Environmental Development. He furthered his studies and received his diploma in Environmental Management.
Mr. Pocsi is a teacher because he has a passion for education, he likes to share his knowledge with others and he finds immense job satisfaction in teaching Pro-Ed learners. ”The quality of students found at Pro-Ed is unique,” says Mr. Pocsi. “They are disciplined and show that they know how to handle themselves.”
Mr. Pocsi would like to start an environmental club that encourages environmental education and extra curriculum activities. To coach a cross country team is also one of his prospects.
Mr Sias Swart is our second “new” teacher. He taught at Namib High School where he was the Acting Principal and Biology teacher. He studied in Pretoria and at Windhoek Teachers Training College. He graduated in 1984 and commenced teaching in 1987. ”I like the formal, spontaneous, but respectfulness of the students towards the teachers in Pro-Ed,” says Mr Swart. He would like to introduce the students to an overseas satellite school, to give them the opportunity for an exchange program. Mr Swart further says that he would like to stay at Pro-Ed until he retires.
Welcome to our school, Mr Pocsi and Mr Swart! May you find the time here joyful and exciting. You are part of our family now we all hold so close to our hearts. Pro-Ed is a school with a difference … but teachers like you influence us to be students with a difference.
