Pro-Ed Akademie het gedurende die afgelope paar jaar gewoond geraak aan ongelooflike Graad 12-uitslae, en die Graad 12’s van 2018 het weereens nie teleurgestel nie. Gedurende die pas IEB (Onafhanklike Eksamenraad) Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat-eksamen (2018), het Pro-Ed se Graad 12’s (die Engelse en Afrikaanse stroom gesamentlik) die volgende prestasies behaal:

100% Slaagsyfer (behaal sedert die skool se eerste Graad 12-groep die IEB

Eksamens in 2011 begin skryf het), 84% van die leerlinge het gekwalifiseer vir graadstudie aan universiteite, en 16% vir diplomastudies.

Die volgende simbole is behaal:

·58 A’s; 61 B’s en 65 C’s

·67 % van alle simbole behaal was hoër as 60%

·43 % van alle simbole behaal was hoër as 70%

·21 % van alle simbole behaal was hoër as 80%

·12 leerlinge behaal ‘n gemiddelde B en 3 leerlinge ‘n gemiddelde A

Betreffende individuele prestasies, het die volgende leerlinge ‘n gemiddelde A behaal:

Lara Bartholomae met ‘n gemiddeld van 88.9% (8 onderskeidings), Anlké Maritz met ‘n gemiddeld van 82.9% (5 onderskeidings) en Marlinda Schutz met ‘n gemiddeld van 82.1% (5 onderskeidings).

Die volgende leerlige het drie onderskeidings of meer behaal:

Minette Turner met ‘n gemiddeld van 78.4% (3 onderskeidings), Ané van der Merwe met ‘n gemiddeld van 78.4% (3 onderskeidings), Suné Horn met ‘n gemiddeld van 75.7% (3 onderskeidings), Karla Boltman met ‘n gemiddeld van 75.3% (3 onderskeidings), Simoné Bierman met ‘n gemiddeld van 75.1% (3 onderskeidings) en Lenize Reinhardt met ‘n gemiddeld van 74% (3 onderskeidings)

Die volgende leerlinge haal die IEB se top 1% lys (uit 12 372 kandidate van regoor Suider-Afrika) in terme van ‘n prestasie in ‘n individuele vak: Lara Bartholomae vir Lewenswetenskappe (90%), Henroux Swart vir Wiskunde Geletterdheid (96%) en Jelaine Strydom vir Wiskunde Geletterdheid (94%).

ENGLISH STREAM

Pro-Ed Academy made history last year when its first group of Grade 12’s in its English stream (from Pre-Primary through to Grade 12) wrote the IEB (Independent Examination Board) National Senior Certificate Examination (2018). They were 14 learners in total.

Their achievements were as follows: 100% Pass rate , 79% of pupils qualified for degree studies at universities, and 21% for diploma studies.

The following symbols were obtained:

·15 A's; 16 B's and 29 C's

·59% of all symbols exceeded 60%

·31% of all symbols were higher than 70%

·15% of all symbols were higher than 80%

Three learners obtained a B average and one an A average. Aniké Maritz obtained an average of 82.9% (5 distinctions) which was the second highest average for IEB learners in Namibia. Well done Aniké!!

The following learners achieved two or more distinctions: Jonathan Koch with an average of 76.9% (two distinctions), Jelaine Strydom with an average of 72.2% (two distinctions) and Markus Duvenhage with an average of 70.7% (two distinctions)

The following learners made the IEB's top 1% list in terms of individual subject performance: Henroux Swart for Mathematical Literacy (96%) and Jelaine Strydom for Mathematical Literacy (94%).
