2019, wat ‘n besonderse jaar om deel van Pro-Ed te wees. Nie net is dit opwindend om van dees jaar my laaste jaar te noem nie, maar daar lê ook opwinding tussen al die Pro-Ed leerlinge. Is dit omdat óns eerste span hul eerste liga gewen het, of oor die Privaat Skole Naweek wat verby is? Almal het sekerlik hul eie rede.

Die jaar lê vol avonture vir Pro-Ed en sy leerders. Die verskuif van kampus, sport om elke hoek en draai, die opkommende veldskool en moet nie vergeet van die eksamen wat soos n slang vir ons le warskuwend Sssss nie. Die matrieks skryf die 12 Junie al Lewens Orienteering en dan volg die winter eksamen kort op sy hakke. Ek wens almal hartlik sterkte toe met hierdie berg wat hul moet uit klim. Onthou, elke treë is ‘n treë nader aan die einpunt, so ook is elke dag wat verby gaan, ‘n dag nader aan jou wen streep.

Die graad tiene van elke jaar het die vooreg om die skool se koerant uit te bring. Die redaksie span van 2019 is vol geheime talente en kan ek se dat hul het hul berigte met vaardigheid geskryf.

Met soveel dinge wat die heeltyd plaasvind, sukkel mens partykeer om n blaas kans te kry. Ek vind dit belangrik dat ouers, onderwysers, afrigters en leerlinge moet onthou dat almal nie met die selfde talente aan mekaar geweef is nie. Daar is die wat kunstig is en die wat sport doen, die akedemie mense en ook die wat net altyd kan lekker praat en almal se dag om kikker met hul lukraake se dinge. Die belangrikste is dat mens besef daar is plek vir elkeen van ons.

Ek wens elke Pro-Ed leerling hartlik sterkte toe met al die uitdaagings wat vir hul voor lê en weet dat omdat hul ‘n Pro-edder is, hul die beste van die taak sal kwyt.
