The Nictus NAPSO Cultural festival provided many proud moments, as the Dolphin learners were granted an opportunity to represent their school. The cultural festival, hosted by Pro-Ed, was held in Swkopmund. The junior choir looked really smart, and unified, in their all- black outfits. Both the junior and senior choir delivered brilliant performances, and were awarded a gold and silver prize respectively. The senior choir was also selected to perform at the gala evening which was once again an outstanding performance. It was clear that the audience as a whole thoroughly enjoyed our learner’s performances. The Cultural festival proved to be a huge success for the Dolphin learners and for the school as a whole.

“My experience at the cultural festival was simply breathtaking. No matter what your interest, the cultural festival provided a spectrum of art forms, and served as a platform for learners to establish themselves as artist. From the linguistic touch of spoken word, to the smooth soothing sound of instrumentals. From the bright colours of the different paintings, to the harmonious tune of ‘The Dolphin Schools’ choir. As a vocalist, I felt supremely proud to represent my school, not only as a contestant, but as a proud spectator too. Being witness to all the amazing performances enabled me to learn new things. Not only did we receive an array of certificates for our efforts, ranging from gold to bronze, Manuel, one of our top vocalist, and the senior choir were invited to perform at the evening gala. These accomplishments not only highlight the success we achieved at the cultural festival, but also illuminates the talent that lingers at the Dolphin Schools.”
