There are good and bad effects of technology. Dealing with technology can be a huge struggle for the young ones. In Khomastura High School, there are several learners who are talented and are gifted to become DJs, they would want to make rhythm and mixing beats and different types of music but the school cannot afford such equipment and needs assistance in order to get them. A Grade 11 learner Tjizake Murangi AKA ‘’Tjiza’’ tries his maximum and level best to entertain the learners with the equipment that he has, even though it is not enough.

Nowadays, learners are focused in having the latest phones forgetting that phones do not train and help them out with their future and that leads them not to focus on their school work. Technology in school is important because learners need to know more about what to do in school which leads them learning about different types of apps and to do research in order to do projects and assignments. Hence teachers are concerned that they might not do a good job if learners do not have what is necessary for learning.

Learners have said that, technology is essential in school because it helps the learners to boost up their points and to guide them on how to become wiser and do homework, projects, activities, assignments and gain knowledge in order to pass their respective grades.

Even though technology has its negative aspects we, Khomastura High School believes that the learners will use the equipment into a much more sustainable use if equipment are donated to the school to help out the learners educationally and to entertain them as well in order for them to pull up their socks and to make themselves, their parents/guardians and teachers proud with their academic performance. With the world changing very latest into technology, so are the learners also have to advance with terms and conditions.
