Paulus Iita has been working at Sat-Com for 29 years and still loves everything about his job. As a driver and installation technician, Iita has proven his reliability to the team that he considers his family.

In the beginning Iita found the job a bit tricky but as time went by, he mastered the necessary skills while gaining experience and knowledge in the field. He has visited a number of sites in different towns and countries through his work and considers installation his passion. The installation of CCTV cameras is his particular favourite and he always feels proud that he had a hand in monitoring the safety at various establishments. He also enjoys radio installations.

Iita’s work day normally begins at 08:00 and his daily responsibilities include executing the tasks assigned by the workshop manager, staring with the most urgent projects. Iita’s passion for solving problems makes his work enjoyable.

Like water and oil, Iita believes that business and pleasure do not mix and he keeps it strictly professional at work. Despite any personal problems that this master installer may have, he stays level headed and remains optimistic to keep the work environment positive.

In his free time, the family man remains in the company of his loved ones and enjoys keeping up with current affairs by watching the news and following his favourite sport, football. During holidays and long weekends, Iita likes to do some farm work.

With the hard work and commitment he puts into his job, he always gets the job done and he gets along with everyone.

“Nothing comes on a silver platter; you have to work hard in order to achieve your goals,” says Iita, who draws his daily inspiration from the quotes of famous people. His favourite is by Eleanor Roosevelt, who said: “Do one thing every day that scares you.”
