Discovering the magic of theatre

PSS re-discovered the magic of theatre this term as they walked through memory lane of the most loved musicals. Grade 1-7 learners rehearsed and experienced the fun and entertainment that theatre brings. Beautiful costumes were made and designed to fit even the most difficult scenes including Beauty and the Beast, Yakari, Annie and Lion King. The audience was taken through a journey of and old lady seeking the one musical she would like to see, but unfortunately the guide had so many musicals in mind that finding the one she wanted was more difficult than they would realise. The guide takes her to Frozen, Jungle book, Aladdin, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins, Sing, School of Rock and Grease. The show must go on and of course it all ends with a Sound of Music.
