Doorway to leadership
Emilia SimonA leader is someone who goes out to find answers for himself or herself. On 16 August one of the Amazing Kids Private school and academy learners visited Namibia Fun Association (NFA) to take part in a leadership workshop. The simplest way to recognize that someone has decent leadership qualities is the act within their first step.
According to Christa Tjiposa, the purpose of the whole workshop was to stimulate leadership capabilities in players. In addition, leadership is not about how one acts rather, the difference made in society.
A leader is someone who is diverse from others, capable of ascertaining problems and solving them within a group of individuals, applying the most important quality which is teamwork. Furthermore, Tjiposa also highlighted that “the workshop was a great success because, it did not only teach us about leadership, but life skills as well.
The workshop was fun filled, attention-grabbing and adventurous at the same time. I got to learn the most important skills of a good leader which is teamwork. I got a fortuitous to interact with new faces and got to socialize. Lastly, the workshop was tremendous for the reason being that it was not only academics but games as well. The game was to build a bridge made out of anything and could hold a one litre bottle.”
In a nutshell, the workshop was an unlimited achievement and this kind of workshops should be conducted more often to allow learners to take part and learn more on life. Workshops got learners to socialize with others and boost their self-confidence. Getting to work with people helps change the he perspective of how people tackle certain situation. The workshop was to craft better people for the future and have great leaders in the future. And make our nation full of pensioned and wise leaders.
