The Zone asked a few young people from Otjiwarongo who they would choose if they could live a day in the life of somebody else. Here is what they had to say.

Lahja Haungeda

I would swap lives with Catherine Shipushu, the marketing manager of the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) because I believe she is a marketing specialist and more change needs to be done to educate the youth on the importance of marketing and communication in general through hosting seminars or similar events.

Johnny Vihinda

I would swap lives with Ranga Haikali, who is the president of Namibia Football Association, because I want to improve the Namibian football landscape and bring our players back in the country to play for local teams.

Enwaalde Matheus

Mr President. I would love to experience how it feels to be a top leader and first citizen of the country. The challenges and criticism he endures and how he calmly handles everything. I know it isn’t actually easy being him but it must be fun and it makes one stronger.

Fiina Simeon

My mom. Sometimes I fail to understand how much she cares and how she works hard 24/7. I want to know all the small things that make her happy in her daily routine. I appreciate her. I would like to see if I would be capable of doing all that she does.

Fikunawa Hatuikulipi

If I could get the chance to switch lives with anyone, would switch with my late father Jonas Fikunawa. He was just my role model and my number one inspiration. He was so smart and I always referred to him as a critical thinker.

Precious Kaundje

My five-year-old daughter, Penny. I want to know how it feels to be my daughter. I’d also like to experience what it is like to learn new things like how to write my name from the age of three, as I only got to learn to write my name at the age of six.
