WHS on wheels
Jump in your car and fasten your seatbelt, because today we are visiting Windhoek High School’s old tradition, called ‘WHS on wheels’.This year, WHS decided that it would be a great idea to start this tradition again, because it goes hand in hand with our interhouse competition theme, which is transport.
Each class is required to choose a method to transport 5 learners from each class around the school as many times as possible, in a certain amount of time.
This would be a fun day full of joy, while also raising funds. The grade 11B-class extended the fundraising by selling ice-cream during the time the event took place. This class’ transport theme was an ice-cream bicycle. The learners also dressed according to the theme.
At the end of the day, they had a lot of fun and sold most of the ice-cream. The rest of the school also had a blast and look forward to seeing ‘WHS on wheels’ ride by again.
