Van Wyk and Jacobs dominate at Rössmund

Rössmund Golf Club hosted the second leg of its annual Medixx Occupational Health sponsorship competition last Saturday.

There was a good turnout of golfers for the betterball stableford competition. Scores were good with two-clubs coming from Fred Bossé, Fred van Zyl, Marco Swarts and Mark Jacobs. Nearest to the pin prizes were awarded on hole 7 to Fred Bossé and at hole 12 to Mario Polster.

Eddie van Wyk and Mark Jacobs claimed the top spot with 49 points. Billy and Rina Knight followed in second position (48) ahead of Fanus Jordan and Warren Theron (third, 47). Marco Swarts and Chris Magson took the fourth spot with 46 points in a count-out over Douw van Wyk and Fred van Zyl

The format for the Medixx Pink Golf Ball competition slated for 21 December will be foursomes.
