Frieda Hamukonda is a camp Namibia manager at N/a’an ku sê Lodge.

She initially started working for the lodge as a receptionist and then progressed to a team leader role, steadily working her way up.

She is currently responsible for overseeing the overall operations at the lodge, such as front-of-house duties and stock control.

Hamukonda says she enjoys everything about her job.

"I enjoy welcoming guests and helping them have great experiences. Each experience creates an opportunity for me to learn something new. And there is always so much to learn. No two days are the same on the job," she said.

A critical requirement of her role is the prompt provision of solutions as issues arise.
