My journey as head girl of Academia Secondary School has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

As Geroné, I have learned that leadership is not only about guiding others, but also about personal growth. Being appointed to the role made me feel proud and motivated to set a positive example for fellow learners. Throughout my tenure, I faced a range of responsibilities and challenges that taught me discipline, confidence and perseverance.

Balancing academic work with leadership duties was not always easy, but it helped me become more determined and organised. I also enjoyed encouraging other learners to participate in school activities and to believe in themselves.

The experience has shaped me into a more confident and responsible young woman. I will always cherish the memories and lessons gained during my time as head girl.
