Nedbank WiM conference back for it's third edition

Nedbank Namibia announced their sponsorship of the Nedbank Women in Media (WiM) conference taking place in Windhoek on 27 May 2023, which is focused on breaking barriers, igniting change, and celebrating the power of women's voices.

Nedbank believes that commitment to gender equity is more essential than ever, as women in the media industry face gender disparities in leadership, mental health, expert representation, online hostility and harassment, and stereotypical portrayals.

Nedbank Namibia communication and public relations manager Selma Kaulinge said that the bank is privileged to stand with the WiM initiative. "Our sponsorship is an affirmation of our commitment to support and promote gender equality, not just within the media industry but throughout society at large."
