A trip down memory lane

Before the coronavirus outbreak, crowds of people could gather in large numbers without fear or the phrase "social distancing" ringing in the back of their minds.

Namibia was no exception.

And when the virus reached the land of the brave in March 2020, most social gatherings were cancelled. This included, but was not limited to, the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair, the Omagongo festival, and the controversial Olufuko festival.

As the annual Ongwediva trade fair returns, and hopefully the rest of the events on Namibia's social events calendar, Namibian Sun takes a trip down memory lane with readers with a collage of photos depicting moments from past festivals, including the annual OATF.
