The fairways of the Windhoek Golf and Country Club will once again take centre stage this Friday as the Annual Ace returns for what promises to be a high-stakes and high-impact showdown.

Now firmly established as a fixture on the country’s sporting calendar, the tournament blends competitive team play with lucrative hole-in-one challenges, attracting strong corporate backing and enthusiastic golfers alike.

Power Line Africa headlines the event as Legacy Ace Partner, while Castle Lite, XCO and Synergi Marketing add to the excitement as official Hole-in-One Partners. Supporting partners include DZ Golf, Bartsch Architecton, Miko Coffee, Mututo Decor, Network Media Hub, Synergi Group and Pupkewitz Motors, all contributing to an event that continues to grow in scale and significance.

Beyond the leaderboard, the Annual Ace carries a deeper purpose. Every entry supports the African Child Development Trust (ACDT) and its national education project, which focuses on placing quality, curriculum-aligned learning materials into the hands of young learners across Namibia.

ACDT executive director Sharnay Botha said excitement is building ahead of the second edition.

“We are extremely excited for the Annual Ace happening on Friday. This is our second year hosting the event, and this year we are going even bigger,” she said.

Botha confirmed that players can expect larger hole-in-one prizes and enhanced rewards for the top-performing teams, with organisers aiming to raise even more funds for the trust’s education project.

“Last year, we raised enough money to educate 1 855 children for a full year. This year, we are aiming to exceed that number,” she added.

Team entries have officially sold out, underlining the tournament’s growing appeal. However, businesses and individuals still have the opportunity to come on board as partners.

With stronger backing, bigger prizes and a bold fundraising target, the Annual Ace 2026 is set to prove once again that sport can be a powerful catalyst for educational transformation.
