The NGF's Federation Pairs competition is played over 54 holes in two days.

The Federation Pairs competition, sponsored by Safety Kit, was held at the Windhoek Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.

The annual Federation Pairs is the only competition that the Namibian Golf Federation hosts during the year.

Ernst Calitz said Safety Kit is proud to have had the opportunity to once again be the sponsor of this event.

The competition is played over 54 holes. The format of the competition is medal – betterball in the first round, foursomes in the second round and and the final round combined.

In total 30 teams participated. No team could win two prizes, therefore the results should be read in that context.

The gross competition was won by Chris Harwin and Morné Engelbrecht.

The best nett was won by Corneels Jafta and Aldo Beukes.

The leading results for the Federation Pairs were as follows:


Best gross:

1 Chris Harwin and Morné Engelbrecht (320).

2 Justus Amutenya and Dewald Coetzee (322).

3 Vincent Dreyer and Johan Grobler (327).

Best nett:

1 Corneels Jafta and Aldo Beukes (279).

2 Wessel Louw and Cor Beuke (281).

3 Joseph Martin and Leevi Tshoopara (287).

Betterball Nett: Natasja Louw and Birgit Schaffitz (66).

Foursomes Nett: Nelago Amutenya and Wisdom Moyo (69).

Combined Nett: Kevin Wentzel and Jordan Wentzel (149).

Nearest-to-pin in two shots at hole 18: Wessel Louw.

One lucky draw prize from the sponsor was won by Fanie Oosthuizen, and nine additional sponsored were raffled.

The representative of the Federation, Milton Eiseb, thanked all participants for their support, especially the ones that came from afar. All the staff of the club were also thanked for their services in making this a successful event.

This coming Saturday the Windhoek Golf Club will host a tournament in the 2026 Nedbank For Good series.
