Agra crowns communal weaner champions
Series concludes
The 2025 Agra Weaner Championship Series wrapped up its final communal leg on 14 November at the Agra Bank Windhoek Ring, concluding another successful season of competitions in Okakarara and Otjinene.“This year’s series was well supported by our communal farmers, whose participation and enthusiasm contributed greatly to the smooth running of each event. Agra appreciates the continued interest shown by farmers across these areas, as it highlights the importance of the Agra Weaner Championship platform for the communal sector. We also acknowledge the valued support of Bank Windhoek, that sponsored this event,” said Trudy Howard, Manager: Stakeholder Engagement and Sponsorship at Agra.
In addition to the competition, Agra ProVision hosted a practical livestock management training session for communal farmers. The session focused on essential management practices and making the best use of available resources.

• Feedlot potential: Erenfried Tjaveondja
• Veld potential: Jakuaterua Kauami
• Heifers with breeding potential: Erenfried Tjaveondja
• Most weaners sold: MLJ Katjiua
