Bank Windhoek top vehicle financier

Bank Windhoek demonstrated its leadership in the Namibian vehicle finance sector, proudly retaining its number one position for the fourth year. The announcement was

made by Bank Windhoek’s Chief Financial Officer, Zenaune Kamberipa, during a keynote address in Windhoek on Friday, 24 October 2025, at the Bank Windhoek Vehicle and Asset

Finance (VAF) Selekt Sales Awards. Kamberipa emphasised that the achievement is the result of teamwork, from dedicated sales teams, dealerships, and customers who trust Bank Windhoek

to finance their vehicle of choice.



In the sales categories, JP Geldenhuys (Pupkewitz Toyota) was named Top Salesperson of the Year for New Vehicles, with Stefan Botes (Gobabis Toyota) earning Silver. Jhandre Nel and

Genivo Mouton of Indongo Auto shared bronze. For Used Vehicles, Kobus Prins (Zeda Cars) won the Gold award, followed by Roux Jeffery (Pupkewitz Toyota) and Tobias Lucas (Indongo

Toyota). Jaco Rossouw (Dub Motors) walked away with the Bronze Award.



Dealerships were also recognised for their achievements. After scooping Gold for both New and Used Vehicle awards, Pupkewitz Motor Division dominated the Namibian Franchise Dealer

category. Indongo Auto also took Silver spots in both categories, while Metje & Ziegler received the Bronze award in the New Vehicle category. The Novel Motor Company won third in the

Used Vehicle Namibian Franchise Dealer Award category. In the Rural Namibian Franchise Dealer Award, Simon Motors Mariental and Redco Motors, trading as Gobabis Toyota, won Gold

and Silver.



In the Truck Dealer of the Year (Rural) category, the Gold Award went to NORS Namibia Vehicles, Spare parts & Services, Autohaus Truck and Bus earned Silver and Scania Namibia took home

the Bronze Award. Capital City Prestige Auto, Windhuk Motors, Windhoek Carzone Auto Sales, were recognised with Gold in the Ownership Dealer Award. Silver and Bronze awards in this

category were shared among several leading dealerships: Dub Motors, Autoworld, Danlou Motors, Investment Cars and Carlink. The Top Fleet Dealer Awards went to Simon Motors

Mariental. Stefan Mans Auto Consultant (SMAC) received the Rising Star Dealer Award, while Zimmerman Garage was named Independent Franchise Dealer of the Year.



The Finance and Insurance Champion Award recognised Jason Engelbrecht (Metje & Ziegler), Yolande Cloete (Indongo Auto) and Shahida du Plessis (Indongo Auto) with Silver and Helen Van

Wyk (Novel Motor Company) with Bronze. Bank Windhoek Vehicle Asset Finance Branch staff members Winnie Ipinge (Retail) and Riaan Gouws (Corporate) were awarded the prestigious

VAF Champion Award.

Kamberipa added that as a relationship-focused bank, Bank Windhoek’s approach goes beyond competitive systems and rates. He said it is about people: those on the frontlines who build

Hosted in the country's central, coastal, and northern areas, the annual Bank Windhoek VAF Selekt awards ceremony recognises outstanding individuals and dealerships for their

exceptional achievements and contributions to the automotive industry during the Bank’s previous financial year. At the event, Bank Windhoek also announced its annual Vehicle and

Asset Finance campaign, which provides special offers to help customers finance new or used vehicles.
