FNB Namibia committed to supporting coastal communities

In a show of commitment to the coastal communities, FNB Namibia unveiled the newly renovated taxi rank in Walvis Bay this week and the upgraded picnic and braai areas at Langstrand’s Dolphin Beach last week.

Speaking at the event, FNB Namibia area manager for the Erongo Region, Joram Kahono, highlighted the bank’s dedication to going beyond financial services and making a tangible impact on the lives of Namibians. “FNB Namibia remains deeply committed to the communities in which we operate. Here at the coast, that commitment is evident through our presence – with three branches, a network of ATMs, and a number of Cash@Till and CashPlus agents, we strive to make banking accessible and convenient for all.” said Kahono.

At the celebration to mark this, the major of Walvis Bay, Trevino Forbes, thanked FNB Namibia.

“What FNB has done here is more significant than just branding. It includes fixing and upgrading the taxi rank in Walvis Bay, the toilets, and the braai area at Langstrand. They have completely upgraded the area, and it is a new look,” Forbes said.

The projects were made possible with close collaboration with the Walvis Bay Municipality. Innovative partnerships enable the focus on real change and a fresh look and feel for our beautiful coastal towns.
