NUST to confer Honorary Doctorate upon Bernhard Zaaruka

achievements that will be recognised through the conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship (Honoris Causa).
Rising from humble beginnings in Windhoek’s Old Location, Zaaruka built a portfolio of multimillion-dollar enterprises that have created jobs, advanced infrastructure, and reshaped communities, particularly in northern Namibia.
A pioneer in construction and real estate, Zaaruka has consistently demonstrated vision and resilience. His work has contributed to the expansion of commercial centres, housing, and social
infrastructure, while also uplifting entrepreneurs and underserved communities across the country.
