RMB, Letshego bolster leadership
RMB Namibia and Letshego Holdings Namibia have announced senior appointments as both financial institutions strengthen their leadership teams.
RMB Namibia has appointed Rehabeam "Ray" Auala Jr as Head of Global Markets, effective 1 June 2026.
Auala has more than 12 years of experience with the FirstRand Namibia Group, having joined the organisation as a bursary student and subsequently worked across Financial Accounting, Treasury and Global Markets. He most recently led RMB Namibia's Trade and Execution Desk.
His appointment comes as demand grows for financial market and risk management solutions, with businesses seeking support to manage financial risks and access opportunities across local and international markets.
Auala holds an Honours degree from the University of Cape Town, with majors in Economics, Accounting and Finance. He has also completed specialist financial markets and leadership programmes, including ACI Dealing and the CFA Programme.
Meanwhile, Letshego Holdings Namibia has appointed Ashante Manetti as its Chief Commercial Officer, effective 18 August 2026.
Manetti brings more than 14 years of experience in financial services, with a background spanning commercial strategy, marketing, customer growth and lending.
She joins Letshego from Old Mutual Namibia, where she held a senior marketing leadership role and led initiatives focused on customer acquisition, brand performance, commercial growth and the expansion of the organisation's lending business.
In her new role, Manetti will lead Letshego's commercial strategy across its banking and micro-lending businesses. Her responsibilities will include driving sustainable growth, strengthening customer relationships, expanding the product offering and supporting profitable performance.
Manetti holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
