The International School of Walvis Bay (ISWB) celebrates the achievements of its u/9 and u/11 football teams, who both finished second in their respective divisions of the Champion Youth Maize League.

Throughout the league, both teams demonstrated determination, teamwork and commitment as they competed against other young footballers. Their performances saw them progress to the final stages, where they secured second place in their respective divisions.

For the players, competing in a league provided an opportunity to develop their football skills while gaining valuable experience on the field. Each match gave them a chance to put their training into practice, work together as a team and learn from the challenges they faced.

The players represented ISWB with enthusiasm and sportsmanship, showing dedication both during matches and throughout the competition. Their performances reflected the hard work of the players and coaches, as well as the support of the wider school community.

The league allowed the young athletes to build confidence, strengthen their teamwork and learn important lessons about perseverance and sportsmanship. Playing alongside and against other young footballers also gave them valuable experience while allowing them to enjoy the sport they love.

Finishing second is a notable achievement for the school’s young footballers and encourages them as they continue developing their skills. The players can take pride in the progress they have made and the effort they put into every match.

The school community is proud of the young athletes and looks forward to seeing them continue to grow, improve and reach new milestones.
