Uatiavi Horohuahe

I am Uatiavihe Horohuahe, the head boy of Academia Secondary School. I enjoy working out, as it helps me reduce stress and stay focused on my goals.

I have been at Academia since Grade 8, and the school has played a significant role in shaping who I am today. I would like to give back to the institution that has given me so much confidence. I have always aspired to a leadership position, serving as a bridge between learners and management, and ensuring that even the quietest students have an advocate and someone they can approach.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:18 that: “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” We must guard against arrogance and remember that leadership is not about status, but service.

I do not like to boast about my position as head boy. Instead, I prefer to let my actions speak for me. In everything I do, I aim to demonstrate discipline, respect and integrity.

As for personal conduct, 1 Timothy 4:12 encourages me.
