When I was announced as head girl at Maurits Devenish Private School, I felt honoured but also nervous. The role taught me how to genuinely listen to diverse perspectives, make thoughtful decisions and collaborate effectively. At the leadership camp, we engaged in team-building exercises that strengthened trust and communication - crucial skills I know will help me lead and inspire others in the future.
