Meet our student leaders
Head Girl: Elizabeth Swartz
Being head girl has been a wild ride! I have learnt so much about leadership, teamwork and problem-solving. One of the biggest lessons has been balancing my responsibilities with schoolwork. It is all about prioritising and managing my time.
As head girl, I have had the opportunity to get to know more learners and members of staff, which has been wonderful. I have also realised how small actions can make a big difference in someone's day. The experience has helped me become more confident and improve my communication skills.
The role has also come with challenges, including making difficult decisions, dealing with criticism and managing the pressure of setting a good example.
Overall, the experience has shaped me into a more confident and responsible person. It has taught me the importance of cooperation and helped me broaden my social circle. I will always be grateful for the opportunity.
Head Boy: Naule John
An interesting fact about me is my passion for athletics, particularly track and field. I find it fascinating how the sport showcases human athletic ability while promoting discipline and good sportsmanship.
My journey as head boy has not simply been a series of achievements; it has been a testament to the value of hard work and discipline. Most importantly, it has taught me to remain humble and remember that the Almighty has plans beyond our own.
My advice to young people aspiring to leadership roles is never to doubt yourself, whatever life throws your way. Leadership is not just about appearing confident; it is about putting yourself in other people's shoes, understanding their needs and being willing to lead by example.
