The 2025/26 Learner Representative Council (LRC), known as the Eagles, serves as the voice of learners and acts as a bridge between students and teachers.

Their responsibilities include promoting discipline, ensuring school rules are followed, and helping to resolve conflicts among learners peacefully and fairly.

Leading the Eagles are the head prefect, head boy and head girl, who play a crucial role in guiding the LRC and supporting the wider student body. The head girl is responsible for overseeing the duties of the female LRC members, assisting with administrative tasks, and helping Grade 8 learners adjust to life at the school.

Reflecting on her experience, she said: “Although from time to time, different viewpoints clash, I think we’ve all grown significantly.” Her words highlight the teamwork and personal development that come with student leadership.

The head prefect shared a similar sentiment, describing the role as a life-changing experience. “What people don’t realise is that being a prefect is supposed to change you. Being a prefect has helped me grow significantly, and I’ve learned how to work better with people too. It’s a great experience, truly.”

Her reflection underscores the valuable lessons leadership can teach, including responsibility, integrity and cooperation.
