The leaders behind the badge
Head boy: Matheus Shaambeni
Being head hoy sounds impressive until you realise the badge comes with much more than a title. It comes with expectations, responsibilities and the occasional moment when you wonder, “Why did I agree to this?” But that is what makes the role meaningful.
Being head boy has given me a chance to grow, make decisions, face challenges and learn from the people around me. It has shown me that leadership is not about being above others. It is about being there for others. The badge may represent the position, but my actions will define the leader behind it.
Head girl: Ndinghona Hitilasha
Leadership is not about being the loudest person in the room or having everyone follow your instructions. It is about knowing when to speak, when to listen and when to stand up for others. It is about earning respect rather than demanding it. Being head birl has been a privilege, and I have had the chance to experience leadership first-hand.
