A night to remember

Of all nights I have seen this one was most certainly the most splendid. It was from the wonderful evening gowns to the raving sounds of cars and shouts in celebration from both current and former Demians. Academia’s Matric Farewell 2017 is most definitely a grand event to remember.
Unfortunately, not all Demian matrics were able to attend the event; they still went to cheer on their fellow matrics at the entrance. The entrance ideas were definitely breathe taking. Most just kept it simple with a classic car, and there were just some that wanted to stand out from the rest. There were in the latest car series from Range Rovers to Mustangs.
While some had their fellow matrics for partners, others were lone wolves and others had their escorts to help them steal the show. For the ones with escorts they had either family members or it was just that hot and cool person they happen to know.
Jennifer Isaaks said, ‘it was indeed a memorable night for me as I saw my friends look completely different when not in school uniform’. She further went on to say, ‘it was the night I looked forward to for so many months’. On an average girls take up to about seventy-five percent (75%) of their Matric year just preparing for the night of nights. Well it is a big deal in the life of any teenage high school girl.
For a guy’s point of view I spoke to Darryl Neumann, who said that the entrance was a grand moment. Darryl says, ‘watching my friends was a great thing and maybe one fine day in the future we will look back at this event and laugh’. When it came to speaking about partners he said that his partner was built up with worries about the things he was supposed to organise other than worrying about her tailor (dress) and make-up.
The event was entirely a success and one that is still spoken about in the corridors amongst the learners. Many of the future matrics cannot wait for next year’s matric farewell, they have actually began to prepare their things for next year.
