In collaboration with Sarna Properties and Warthog Engineering, residents from northern Namibia and beyond will soon be new homeowners for two- to three-bedroom houses.

“This project kicked off this month and Warthog Engineering gave Sarna Properties the mandate to sell 50 mass housing units to our northern clientele,” says Sarty Nambili from Sarna Properties.

Sarna Properties have been in the industry for about two and a half years and they focus on sales, rentals, management and property investments.

Warthog Engineering, a construction company based in Oshakati, has over five years’ experience in civil work and project management.

“Our target market for these homes is low- to middle-income earners. These include, but are not limited to, police officers, teachers and healthcare workers. The houses start from N$580 000 to N$780 000 and they are between 420 to 700 square metres,” said Nambili.

The houses are located in Ehenye, Oshakati, which is a newly developed residential area.

“The houses have ready-made plans to choose from, however amendments are welcome at an extra cost, because plans have already been pre-calculated, covering all costs from the tiling to the built-in cupboards,” said Hilkka Nekwaya from Sarna Properties.

Sarna Properties will provide assistance to the client in getting pre-approved loans from the bank. The client just needs to provide an ID, six months’ bank statements, their latest pay slip and if applicable, housing subsidy booklets.

“We encourage all those that are currently renting all around the north to see how we can assist them to become homeowners,” said Nekwaya.
