Murder She Wrote

Dolphin Schools
Anzil kulsen, an accredited writer and literacy teacher from Upington South Africa, visited the Dolphin School, on the 4th of February, bringing with her an exciting tale of her voyage to Walvis Bay.
She began, “We were just out of Swakopmund, her escort busy driving with his wife in the passenger seat and I was in the back seat. As we sped across the highway, we suddenly hit a bump and as I was busy trying to find my bearings, I grabbed onto the passenger seat. My brain registered a second too late that I was holding onto the bloody, blonde head of a faceless woman”.
She then asked the learners who believed her, and even though we thought it was a pretty well told story, no learner actually raised up their hand. She continued to ask the students, who has an interest in writing and then started to build a story on a couple of random characters named by the students, all in efforts to spark an interest in reading and writing. She told them that with a good imagination and a vocabulary, there is no limit on what you can write about, especially as a fiction writer - it is all made up after all.
Mrs Kulsen wrote a number of very successful novels and a collection of short stories, including a short story in Skreeu, Sorrie Maak Nie Gesond Nie, `n Hart Vol Sand and her debut novel called Zita, which has sold 20,000 copies.
