Today we are chatting with NHS's very own soccer star, Ryan Ockhuizen.In a recent match against De Duine, Namib High was triumphant walking away with five goals to one. Ryan was named Man of the Match and made NHS very proud.
Naykie: Ryan, how long have you been laying for NHS?
Ryan: I have been playing since Grade 9, so about 3 years now.
Naykie: How often do you practice?
Ryan: I practice foru times a week. Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Naykie: Do, you do any other sport?
Ryan: No, just soccer.
Naykie: In a recent match against De Duine, you were named Man of the Match, how did that make you feel?
Ryan: I feel proud of myself byt in the end I did it for the team.
Naykie: You are an LRC now, do you think you can juggle the responsibilities of being an LRC, playing soccer and being a learner?
Ryan: I am a hard worker and I don't quite, so I will manage.
Naykie: If you could give an award to a team mate who would it and for what?
Ryan: Morgan Numubeb for best midfielder.
Naykie: Who is your soccer role model?
Ryan: Lionell Messi
Naykie: What position do your play and what's your jersey number?
Ryan: I play in the striker position, and my jersey number is number 9.
Naykie: Do you have any motivational works for aspiring soccer players?
Ryan: Work hard, never give up ad believe in yourself.
