SBS rewards its students
Justicia ShipenaThe graduation ceremony of the Southern Business School (SBS) took place last week at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino.
On Friday 13 April a total of 313 graduates of different programmes were honoured and rewarded for their hard work.
The number of students enrolled at SBS has increased and students are also pursuing successive degrees and other courses.
Students usually start off with certificates and diplomas and eventually enrol in degree programmes.
Dr Divya Singh, chief academic officer gave the keynote address. “When problems are identified, deal with them as soon as they arise, do everything to find a solution. Do not put them off just because they seem small or insignificant,” Singh said.
She further stated that she believes everyone has the potential to become a leader and she wishes all the students a successful journey.
Chris Vorster, principal of Southern Business School (SBS), congratulated the students and said that the graduates of SBS will continue to make a positive impact as they integrate their newly acquired knowledge in their place of employment.
He said that students should use their time wisely and should lead their respective industries with a sense of boldness and courage. “Your time is limited, so do not waste it living someone else’s life,” he said.
