Seven Gold and 3 Silver Medals for Private School Swakopmund
Swakop Circuit Science Fair with great projects
Science fair is an opportunity for young minds to expand their horizons and learn about the world and how it works. Every year students from grade 7-10 of Private School Swakopmund present judges with brilliant concepts and ideas that could one day change the way the world works, for the better. The Science Fair's objective is to give students the opportunity to explore a topic they are interested in and learn about the scientific method through a hands-on approach, whilst developing skills in organization, project management, research, problem solving and communication, to name a few.
Concepts like desalination for the severe lack of water in our country other concepts like electromagnetic trains to advance the way we travel to and from or plastic recycling or wind power and many more. Other projects have great impacts on the mental ability of some students like the project on cloud chambers.
