Waka Waka Moo is a series for children aged between four and 12 years old. The show entertains while educating children on topics which touch on a variety of subjects such as mathematics, science, history, safety tips and Namibian folklore stories.

The show is based on imaginary characters called the ‘Waka Waka Moo’, who live in the land of the Waka.

Each Waka Moo character speaks a different local Namibian language.

The show features local Namibian personalities in radio, television, fashion and other sectors, who visit the Wakas to teach children lessons by singing the alphabet, dialoguing and doing a unique song matching a scenario.

Waka Waka Moo is both entertaining and educational, because it focuses on displaying different cultures, traditions, spelling, basic math and other genres in the form of song, dance and storytelling, presented with hand puppets and in animated cartoon form.

Sugar King’s brand promise is to provide every Namibian with a sweet, energetic experience, and we believe that with this promise we are not only empowering a young Namibian entrepreneur, but it allows an opportunity to teach our Namibian youth about our countries beautiful heritage, while educating them with this unique proudly Namibian programme.
