Ultimate Safaris guide awarded with a trip to Mexico

Ultimate Safaris has once again gone the extra mile to reward one of its expert naturalist guides with a world-class experience.

This time it was Franco Morao, who was selected as the Ultimate Safaris' guide of the year in 2023, for which he was awarded a three-week trip to Mexico in February, where he got to experience the country’s magnificent marine life.

“The guide exchange programme between Ultimate Safaris and Mexico’s Todos Santos Eco Adventures is just one of the ways in which Ultimate Safaris likes to grow professional capabilities, show its gratitude towards its team members and reward them for the hard work and long hours they put in,” the company said in a statement.

Both Ultimate Safaris and Todos Santos Eco Adventures, the leading eco-adventure company in Mexico’s Baja California, are part of the Kusini Collection, a North American marketing group, and have a shared passion for the protection and conservation of the unique and delicate wildlife areas they operate in.

Morao has been a guide for 20 years and joined the company in 2017.

He spent a remarkable 243 days on the road in 2023.

His selection as guide of the year was based on guest feedback, long service, dedication and overall great work.
