Injury ruled out Masilingi

Sprinter Beatrice Masilingi first-ever participation as the only Namibian representative at the World Athletics Indoor Championship in Nanjing, China did not go according to plan.The 21-year-old was due to compete in the 60 metres sprint Saturday morning, but did not report to the starting blocks for her heat.
In a message to the media, coach Henk Botha explained: “It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Beatrice suffered an unfortunate injury before her race.
“While practicing her start, she fell and injured her shoulder, making it impossible for her to run her heat.
“This is a heartbreaking moment for her, as she has worked incredibly hard to be here.
In a later update, he added: “Thanks to the great doctors at World Athletics and in Nanjing, China, her shoulder was successfully popped back in place, and she is doing much better now. She is fine now; she is just resting. We appreciate the support!”
