The NPFL has also confirmed the fixtures for the opening round, with several adjustments made to the initial schedule. Ongos FC will now host UNAM FC at Windhoek Independence Stadium on 24 October 2025, reversing the earlier listing that had UNAM FC as the home team. Meanwhile, the clash between Mighty Gunners FC and Life Fighters FC has been rescheduled to 26 October 2025 and will take place in Otjiwarongo. Okahandja United FC’s match against Bucks Buccaneers FC, originally set for Round 1, has also been moved to 26 October 2025 but will still take place at the same venue in Okahandja. The fixture between Julinho Sporting FC and Rundu Chiefs FC has been postponed indefinitely, with further details expected in due course.Eeshoke Chula Chula FC have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market ahead of the new season. Determined to build on their seventh-place finish last campaign, the northern outfit have reinforced their squad with several new signings. Among the latest arrivals are Zambian forward Edwin Chipile from Chambishi FC, midfielder Tuuhafeni Nghuushi from Ohangwena Nampol, Congolese winger Eric Yema from Nkana Football Club, Junior Mathews from Julinho Athletic Club, and local talent Wise Lifasi from Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi region. The new additions are expected to add depth and attacking options as the team prepares for their northern derby clash with KK Palace.
