The second Old Crocks tournament took place at the Swakopmund Fistball Club home ground this past weekend. The tournament saw 23 teams from different countries competing for top honours.
Just like the week before, the HeidGenossen proved unbeatable in the women’s competition.
The Swiss team RiWi Alpenpower once again had to settle for silver, while TK Hannover secured the bronze medal, as they did a few days prior.
SKW won the match for fourth place, relegating AF Schnägge to fifth.
FB Elgg-Ettenhausen triumphed again in the over-40 category, while TSV Jona advanced to the final this time but were defeated by their Swiss counterparts.
Local team Cohen surprisingly won the bronze medal, improving their ranking from the first tournament by one position.
The home team, SFC, which had finished in last place seven days earlier, took advantage of their home ground and climbed to fourth place on Saturday.
SV Erolzheim, runners-up a week ago, found themselves in last place this time around.
In the over-50 category, FB Widnau once again proved to be in a class of their own with a terrific display of fistball.
TSV Hagen 2 and 1 improved to second and third place, respectively.
SKW had to settle for fourth, while fifth to eighth place went to Polizei SV Wien, SV Moslesfehn, Behringen, and SFC.
