The school soccer team has recently received a donation of branded sporting equipment worth N$20 000.00 ranging from soccer balls to water bottles, gazebo and banners. "We at KSB understand that sports plays an important role in career development, fitness as well as nation building," explained the company's marketing officer, Tresia Awene at the official handover that took place at the school on the 27th of May. The donation from the pumps and valves supply giant will facilitate the school in preparing for an upcoming soccer tournament that the school will be hosting. “My team and I are so grateful for the sponsorship because it makes one look forward to practice and games as well. Particularly for our upcoming tournament,” said team captain Paddy Kaetjavi. The tournament will take place from the 15th to the 17th of September as part of the school’s ongoing sixtieth birthday celebration.

“We are extremely grateful for this donation from KSB Namibia that will help us make our upcoming tournament a success. This is truly an investment into our players as well and will certainly give a boost to their morale while preparing for the tournament,” said sports coordinator Vitalis Iiyambo, who is responsible for the planning and organising of the event alongside fellow head of departments.

Additionally, both organisations recently celebrated milestones as KSB celebrated 30 years of establishment in Namibia and Jan Mohr celebrated 60 years of dedicated educational service delivery.
