Windhoek High School (WHS) learners are encouraged to sign up members for the project and stand a chance to win a brand new iPhone 11 to the value of N$11,000.

The project is designed to make it possible for the school to back up the potential of its learners and continue cultivating them to reach their full potential at every opportunity. The Windhoek High School Kudu Alliance Project is a fundraising initiative aimed at supporting and empowering learners and designed to provide learners with various opportunities for personal, academic, sports, and cultural growth.

WHS says the Namibian community is filled with alumni of WHS who have become upstanding and productive members of society.

“Those who had the privilege to be part of the blue school understand and acknowledge the blessing of receiving a strong education in a diverse and affordable school. With this in mind, The Kudu Alliance was established as a supporters network of old-scholars and parents wishing to create the same or better education opportunities for future generations of WHS learners,” said WHS.

Purpose of the project

The primary purpose of the Kudu Alliance is to support a high-standard environment in WHS where learners can continue to reach their full potential. While the school operations are largely funded by the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, and parents, consistent additional funding from supporters will enable the school to introduce long-term and sustainable initiatives that empower learners in all aspects of their lives.

Financial assistance received through a recurring donation to the Kudu Alliance will be used to: support learners in need; wellness and personal development initiatives for learners and teachers; academic excellence resources; expand opportunities for participation in sports and cultural activities; and maintain and improve school facilities.

How it works

Stakeholders of WHS join the Kudu Alliance project by signing up for a monthly debit order of their choice. Stakeholders can sign up as a member on the buddy.na app on any smartphone or computer

By providing ongoing financial support, they can play a crucial role in ensuring that learners have access to a wide range of educational and extracurricular opportunities. This, in turn, can help WHS learners reach their full potential and achieve success in various aspects of their lives. But, wait this is not all....

WHS believes in rewarding learners for their hard work and commitment. The learner that signs up the most members on the Kudu Alliance project will win a brand new iPhone 11 to the value of N$11 000.

The winner will be announced on Thursday 7 December 2023 at 10:00 on all WHS platforms. Stakeholders must indicate the learner's name and grade in the reference of the debit order sign-up form.
