The atmosphere at Jan Möhr Secondary School was electric as learners gathered for the much-anticipated interhouse competitions.

Participants proudly represented their teams, ready to compete in a variety of sports and events. Excitement was palpable, with cheers echoing across the sports grounds.

Interhouse is more than just a competition; it is a celebration of teamwork, school spirit and determination. Learners gave their best in athletics, football, netball, and other sporting events, each striving to earn points for their house.

Teachers and staff were equally enthusiastic, cheering and encouraging students, ensuring the day was full of energy, fair play and fun.

One of the highlights was the athletics.

Learners sprinted across the track, displayed impressive coordination in relay races, and showed remarkable skill in their respective sports.

Every goal, every cheer, and every finish line brought waves of excitement and boosted team pride. Even those not competing played a vital role, supporting their teammates with loud chants and colourful banners.

Beyond the sports, the event fostered teamwork and strategy. Teams worked together to plan their moves, motivate each other, and stay focused throughout the day. Moments of encouragement, laughter and friendly rivalry filled the grounds, showing how the competition brings the entire school community together.

By the end of the day, it was clear that interhouse is not just about winning; it is about unity, camaraderie, and celebrating the talents and efforts of every learner.

Students left the grounds tired but happy, proud of their achievements and excited for the next event.
